A Fear of Mega Earthquake Is Shrouding Southern California After Many Earthquakes Hit The Region


South California is having a really tough time and seismologists are scared that these signs are not good enough for the region.

This can be major news for the people for the region as they need to be prepared for the worst.

Seismologists are worried that people of the region may need to prepare arrangements to accommodate them in the near future because in less than a month’s time the region has received hundreds of earthquakes and now there are chances of a mega quake.

Although the magnitude of all these earthquakes has been lesser than 3, it has been more than 1000s in just 3 weeks time.

Now the experts say that although nothing major has happened yet these earthquakes are occurring daily and they can cause a major one too.

The swarm has affected Riverside and San Bernardino too.

Three years ago something similar happened. Near San Andreas Fault there were a few activities happening and the experts were scared that this may turn out to be a major earthquake but nothing happened.

No, nothing happened back then but there are major chances that something major might happen this time.

Scientists who are working in the region or are aware of the happenings are suggesting people be prepared to relocate themselves because if a mega-quake took place people would have to move away or there will be a major loss of life in the area too.

In the starting of this year, an app was developed by Los Angeles that started about an earthquake.

The app is called ShakeAlertLA and it has been available since on the play store. The app is very helpful and people living in areas prone to earthquake should definitely have it.
