The collection of items could be significant in the search for Brian as he and his parents went camping to De Soto National Park from September 6 to 8.

One hour after the FBI left, Laundrie’s father Christopher went out to check the mail. He then shook his head as he returned inside after demonstrators outside the house shouted the word ‘murderer’ at him.

Laundrie reportedly told his parents Roberta and Christopher that he was going to the vast alligator-infested wilderness where officers have been searching for him.

A person close to the search for Brian Laundrie told Daily Mail: “I don’t believe they’re looking for a body, even now. They’re still on a manhunt. There have been no signs of buzzards circling, and that’s a sure sign of a body in these places.”

Mike Hadsell, who runs the volunteer Peace River K9 Search and Rescue Association from Sarasota, said: “It’s like searching in Jurassic Park.

“Even if Laundrie was an experienced survivalist, the chances of him being able to stay out there this long are very slim.”
