New surveillance footage shows FBI agents approaching Roger Stone at his Florida home before arresting him

FBI agents with guns can be seen arresting Stone during a pre-dawn raid at his Florida home on January 25.

Stone, 66, who is Trump’s longtime ally, is facing seven charges including making false statements to Congress and witness tampering.

The surveillance footage shows FBI agents in bulletproof vests with guns approaching Stone.

FBI agents then can be seen arresting Stone from his Florida home.

President Donald Trump, who vouched for Stone, told the Daily Caller in an interview:

‘Roger is not a person that they would have to worry about from that standpoint. And I thought it was sad to see it. Very sad,’

Trump also said that he was ‘speaking for a lot of people that were very disappointed to see that go down that way.’

Stone was released on $250,000 bail after appearing in a Florida federal court just hours after he was arrested.

Stone said that he is innocent and he would never turn on the president. He said in a news conference:

‘I’m not accused of collaboration, I’m not accused of conspiracy. There is no underlying crime.’
