A vile father could walk free after locking his 20-month-old daughter in a cage and sending disturbing pictures to his ex-wife, the mother of the baby, as a part of sick revenge.

The Chinese man, Xu Qian, placed his daughter in a dog cage before taking a picture of the crying toddler and sending it to his ex-wife, Xu Ting.
As Ting explained, her ex also sent her a disturbing photo in which he was stomping on the girl’s head.
According to the devastated mother, she has previously reported domestic violence to the authorities but was never taken seriously.
“They said men are stressed and women need to be considerate. The police are men too, and they help other men,” she said.
“He would often abuse me, and each time I called the police they would give him nothing but ‘criticism and education,’” a.k.a. verbal warnings.
Not knowing whom else to turn on for support, Ting shared the disturbing photos on social media and pleaded for help. Since then, the pictures have been shared nearly 50,000 times.
As the distraught mother added, Qian has had custody of their daughter ever since the couple’s divorce last year. The man currently lives in his home in Caitang Town, Chao’an District, Chaozhou.
Fortunately, the Chinese authorities started looking into the matter after Qian sent his ex-wife another set of close-up photos depicting bruises and cuts on the toddler’s skin.
As the police revealed, the father admitted to sending the disturbing pictures to Ting in order to get revenge on her.
Despite the toddler’s dangerous situation, however, they are not clear whether he will lose his parental rights and/or face any sanctions related to his despicable actions.
