A woman shared a heartwarming picture of a man chatting to his elderly father through a care home window after the facility was put in coronavirus lockdown.
Sandy Hamilton, from Minnesota USA, works at the aged-care facility that has been put in coronavirus lockdown.
When she was working at the aged-care facility, she witnessed a touching moment and decided to take a picture to share online.
The picture shows an elderly resident at the facility talking to his son, who never fails to visit his father, through the care home window.
The father and son can be seen talking on the phone while the father is sitting inside the facility and the son is sitting outside.
Sandy shared the heartwarming picture on Facebook with the caption: “My assisted living is on lockdown, so he comes every day to see his dad and they talk through the phone – sweetest thing ever”.
The post instantly went viral online and people absolutely loved the picture as one called it ‘sweet’ while another praised the son for visiting his father every single day.
An isolated mother also shared a picture recently that shows her seven-year-old daughter waving at her from the street.
Dr. Laura Noonan has a rare blood disease and is living in isolation as she can possibly catch coronavirus.
She shared the picture and said: “I wanted to share with you what I think is the most powerful and impactful image I have seen that represents lockdown Ireland through the eyes of a child.”
Her seven-year-old daughter Freya can be seen waving at her mother from the street in the heartbreaking picture.
The mother said she is not allowed to meet her family due to Covid-19 visiting restrictions but hopes to meet them soon.
The mother also said this is one of the saddest photos she has ever taken and has no idea when she will see her family this time.
