As Arthur Ord from Durham, England, explained on Facebook, he taught his 13-year-old son a real-life lesson after finding out that he was responsible for smashing a bus shelter.

According to the single father, who outed his son in his post and apologized for his behavior, the boy wasn’t raised to act like this which is why he wanted to make sure he would get a proper punishment for his behavior.

“There was a post put on Facebook tonight of kids doing this, I’m sad to one of the boys in this picture is my son,” Arthur wrote.

“I feel so embarrassed and ashamed that he would so this. I have not brought him up in this way and do apologize for his behavior.

“He will not be seen out in a long time and I will await the police and he will accept his guilt. He has denied threatening some girls but had admitted to asking them to delete photos. Once again I’m so sorry for his actions.”

Soon enough, the father’s post went viral, whereas the people commended him for going the extra mile to teach his son a lesson.

“He’s had a couple of little scraps recently and I need to do something to slow him down before it is too late. I won’t allow him to run away and hide from what he’s done, not on my watch,” the 51-year-old dad said.

Commenting on another post, the father added:

“He will not be seen out for a long time. He is at a very impressionable age, and I worry unless he gets a hard lesson, what will happen?

“When I was young, you went over the knee and got a proper a**-slapping, but now you have to find another way as hands are tied by the law in so many ways.”
