Father And Son Barely Escaped Death As They Got Trapped In A Forest Fire


On Aug 11, Charlie aged, 70, along with his son Justin Bilton was enjoying their camp in Montana at Glacier National Park.

A sudden lightning storm stroke has started into serious flames of fire. Both son and father to save their lives have jumped inside the car and started driving to escape from the enveloped fire. They soon took a swerve from uprooted trees to Lake McDonald. Howe Ridge Fire has turned 7,800 acres of park area into ashes.

Intimidating moments of the son and father adventure in the journey of saving their lives from forest fire have been captured in the video. Charlie and his son Justin Bilton had backpacked to have fun camping in the forest in the area of Wyoming and Montana.

Confidently, the father told the son that we could drive through the flames. However, the son had a big doubt of the car getting blown up. In this terrifying moment, father elevated the confidence of the son and told to drive at a moderate speed. The fumes of fire started surrounding on the way they are driving towards and had hit the windshield of the car suddenly. The temperature of the car started to rise. Justine was praying to God to rescue them out of this untoward incident.

In the post that was shared on the Facebook, Justin stated that there were safely driving through the road a few hours before to have wonderful camping, but the same way has turned them a deathbed. While driving, they came across a tree which caught fire. They used fire-proof gloves to move the tree out of their way to drive safely.

When his father was trying to move the burnt tree out, the son was very afraid but had cooled down thinking that the old man is too stubborn and strong. The son stated that his father was totally cool even in this frantic situation. On the way, they had to take a U-turn to move towards the trailhead and then drive towards the Lake. The car succumbed with flames.

Once they reached the lake, they found two park employees and the captain of the tour boat named Jess Kimball and a ranger named Dave. They had rescued by these people, according to KRTV. After 10 to 15 minutes after the duo had left from the place, the whole area had caught intense fire. The aftermath of this fire is it destroyed nine homes and cabins. In addition, hundreds of people were moved safely from the campgrounds.
