Who doesn’t like to have a good back massage after a long day of work? And if you have kids, the only time you can relax is when your little ones are asleep.
This brilliant father found a way to combine a good back massage and playtime for kids by creating a shirt that tricks his child into giving him a back massage. Want one?
Ken Kawamoto from Japan is a software engineer for Google. Most importantly, he is a dad. He recently introduced to the world a t-shirt he designed. It looks plain and simple at first glance but it actually hides a secret purpose!
Speaking about how he came up with the amazing idea, Ken said to Bored Panda: “I often do work on my laptop while lying down on the floor. One time, in an act of boredom, my child started playing with his toy train on my back, which surprisingly felt very refreshing since my back was really strained.
“I then came up with this idea to get him to run the train along the particularly massage-needy parts of my back.”
The shirt has specially designed areas named Spine, Lower Back, Right Shoulder and Left Shoulder, allowing the little conductor to run the train smoothly. It also lets the father identify which areas need more vigorous driving.
“He [the son] seems to enjoy using me as rails (and the added sense of accomplishment from giving me a back massage). He’s always enjoyed using me as a toy,” Ken added.
The t-shirt is available online for $22. One person said: “Omg why is he so smart.”
Another commented: “Parenting lvl 100!”
A third wrote: “OK I need this right now. I hope there is an English version I’d buy it.”
