Father Claimed His ‘Ridiculous’ Breakfast That He Made For His Daughters Is Actually ‘Delicious’ And ‘Healthy’


Australian chef and television presenter Pete Evans shared a picture of the breakfast he made for his teenage daughters and some called it ‘ridiculous’.

Chef Pete’s ‘surf and turf’ breakfast creation consisted of organic eggs topped with caviar, cut up grass-fed wagyu hotdogs with chili sauce and a side of sauerkraut.

The chef shared the picture of the breakfast on his Instagram with the caption: ‘Surf and turf breakfast for the girls. Boiled organic eggs topped with @yarvalleycaviar, kraut and the new @cleaversorganicmeat grass-fed wagyu hotdog with chili sauce.’

‘They also get a little fruit and coconut yogurt and chicken broth most days before heading off for the day. Always some form of animal fat and Protein in the form of land or water-based animals including eggs. We cover all this in our book bubba yum yum for toddlers and children ❤️’

Some of his fans found the breakfast delicious as one fan wrote: ‘Yum! Those eggs look delicious!’ while another fan asked: ‘Looks amazing! What do their friends think of breakfast when they have a sleepover??’

But, some called the unusual breakfast ‘ridiculous’ which irked the chef and he shared another post for those who thought his ‘surf and turf’ breakfast creation was ‘ridiculous’.

He defended his breakfast on Instagram as he wrote: ‘Well there you go. Some may call this ridiculous…I like to call it delicious and of course, at the end of the day (or actually start of the day) it is well-sourced animal protein and fat from land or sea or fresh water animals and some vegetables and fruit in any combination that suits your tastebuds, availability, budget and time.’

Despite the negative response, the chef’s unusual breakfast received thousands of likes and hundreds of comments.
