A heartbroken father will never know the truth about his missing daughter as he tragically passed away.
87-year-old Gene Moorman died of cancer only months after his daughter Suzanne Morphew went missing.
According to reports, Morphew vanished in Maysville, Colorado on Mother’s Day, May 10. The last person to see her alive was her husband, who claims she went out on her bicycle but never came back.
Morphew was reported missing after her two daughters failed to reach her. Her brother Andy said he has urged her husband to take a polygraph test and he was doubtful the mother was still alive.
Speaking to Fox News, Andy said: “My sister was just the sweetest person ever and anyone would have been happy to be friends or neighbors with her.
“I’m not going to give up. I’m coming back out there to look. If you’re not guilty, step up to the plate.”
Morphew’s husband, Barry, denies any role in her disappearance.
He told the station: “My wife and I have been in love since 1988 and she’s the love of my life. And I continue to search for her every day and I will until I find her. I promise and I promised my girls that.”
He added: “This is the most devastating thing that has ever happened to me. But I have got to keep my faith and trust in God. And Suzanne trusted the Lord and if one person got saved from this, she would think it was worth it.
“And we are just a Godly, loving, caring, family and this thing is just a tragedy.”
