When a 43-year-old man, Tim Goodacre, hit the stage of Britain’s Got Talent with his 12-year-old son, Jack, the judges, as well as the audience, had no idea what the duo was capable of!

When the father-son duo was asked to introduce themselves, the 12-year-old told the judges that he has been playing the guitar and singing with his father since he was 5. The boy was confident in himself and was eager to perform on the show.

Jack also mentioned how much he loved the show. “It’s my favourite thing to watch on TV, so it would be absolutely incredible to win,” the boy said.

As soon as their performance got aired, last Saturday, it went viral on the internet. And once, you have seen it, you will know why!

Jack and Tim share the musical ability which many among us could only dream of. Not only their singing and lyrics were outstanding, they also played the guitar in perfect synchronization.

Before starting the performance, Jack was asked which judge he liked the most? And his prompt reply was, “Simon Cowell.” Then Simon asked him about what they were going to sing for the audience, after which their performance began.

Before performing, Tim told the judges that they used to write their own songs and the song that they chose to perform was, “The Lucky Ones.”

Tim also told the judges and the audience about the context of the song. He said: “We’ve all had family losses and things like that, and as a father and son, it’s … a kind of father, son song, a family song, it’s about us.”

Jack then added: “It’s about how lucky we are to have the things we have.”

Without further conversation, the father and the son started to sing in perfect harmony. The duo sang in complete unison with the core of their hearts. To say the truth, words can’t truly describe how beautiful their performance was.

They created an unforgettable moment for their viewers and, as expected, received a standing ovation from the teary-eyed audience.

As if this appreciation was not enough, they received praise from the judge who is famous for harshness and extreme criticism.

You guess that right! Simon Cowell couldn’t stop himself from praising their performance and even hit the golden buzzer for them!

This happiness wasn’t something little Jack could handle easily!
