The major fashion shows take place a good half-year before the season and if you follow them closely, chances are you won’t be buying anything out of the trend.

Simon Rocha started the trend of shiny, pearl and multi-colored hairpins back in 2018. The trend made its way from fashion shows to social media fashion pages and then to street users.

The trend got out of the spotlight by the end of 2019 and it is a big no for 2020.

You may better be looking for headscarves or ribbons from Erdem, Giambattista Valli, and other popular designers to remain in fashion for 2020.

2. Skinny Jeans

For day to day life, replace them with micro-shorts from the collection of Brandon Maxwell, Yves Saint Lauren or Rag and Bone.

9. Oval Belt Bags

These bags first became popular back in the 1990s but they quickly lost popularity in 2019 and are now outdated. It is suggested to go for the smaller rectangular ones meant to contain the smartphones or the saddle-shaped ones.

10. Uggs

Uggs got popularity because people found them comfortable but the recent researches show that they are not good for your feet and put a strain on your back due to a very flat sole design.
