This has been no exception to our now-departed friends in the networks where America’s most loved sitcoms, while they looked as if they would last forever, did have to come to a close.

And now, among the great halls of American Long-running sitcoms, therein lies a new plaque for our cherished series ‘Modern Family’, coming to an end after 11 years on air, and one of the Emmy’s favorite on live television.

The end of the sitcom not only sigfies that we have to say bye by to the kids we have seen grow up right in front of our eyes. Nor does it only signify that we get to witness how Sofia Vergara keeps her young form without so much as a ‘tingle’ as she would put it for decades.

No, it has more to do with the whole network television as a whole. Modern Family is the last sitcom to ever achieve the largest number of Emmys in best comedy wins in the history of television.

No other show since its inception has been able to keep track record, and it would certainly need more than several years to achieve those records. Alas, the media industry and its platform ever changing, it seems the last glory is to be held only by this entitled piece of comedic writing.

Sensational at its initiation, the family forms of gay couples, the young Hispanic wife and the Caucasian old husband and henceforth is now considered not only normal, but a given form of family, both by consensus and the law.
