Only a few hours had passed since the news broke that actor Bradley Cooper had broken up with his girlfriend of four years, Irina Shayk, but fans already started clamoring on Twitter for the actor to finally hook up with Lady Gaga.
Cooper and Lady Gaga first grabbed headlines after their intense on-screen chemistry in the movie, A Star Is Born. But speculations ran wild that the chemistry was not confined to just the set.
Twitter was afire as fans speculated about what would happen next and also suspected that the chemistry previously pointed out was the reason Cooper split with Shayk, who he has a two-year-old daughter with.
On Twitter user wrote: “So bradley cooper and lady gaga are both single… we all know whats gonna happen next.”
A slew of other comments followed:
“I am predicting right now that lady gaga will have bradley coopers son by the end of the year.”
“Bradley and Gaga can now finally get whatever it is out their systems.”
“I swear to god Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga need to get together now that he is single omg. They’re just meant to be.”

After their performance at the Oscars four months ago, Lady Gaga vehemently denied that they were in love and insisted that their closeness was all due to acting. She told Jimmy Kimmel during an interview in his show that there was nothing going on between her and Cooper.
When Fallon pressed her about the pair’s intense chemistry, she replied, “That is what we wanted you to see. This is a long song. It is a love story and we worked so hard. I knew he had a vision for how long it should go.”
As further proof that it was all part of the performance, she pointed out her previous collaboration with Tony Bennett.
“I’ve had my arms wrapped around Tony Bennett for the last three years. It’s what you do when you sing love songs,” she said.
However, the closeness between Cooper and Lady Gaga still became the talk of the town and was rumored to be the reason why Gaga split with fiancé Christian Carino. The fact that Cooper split with his own girlfriend four months later will only feed the rumors that something really is going on between them.
A source told Page Six: “Hollywood is buzzing that Gaga fell for Bradley during pre-production and filming, creating the intense emotional energy you see on-screen and at the Oscars. He wanted an authentic love story on-screen.”
It didn’t help that the pair were photographed embracing and whispering to each other at the Post-Oscar Party organized by Warner Bros. Pictures. One source said that as soon as she arrived, Lady Gaga made a “beeline” for Cooper.
The source explained: “Bradley and Irina and his mom arrived first and Gaga arrived after 10 pm carrying her Oscar.
“She made a beeline for Bradley, they were all over each other, they embraced and had an intimate chat, they couldn’t get enough of each other. They were hugging and leaning in close to talk in each other’s ear.
“She hung out with Bradley for almost two hours. Irina was there but she was sat on a couch in the shadows at the back of the room, she didn’t look impressed.
“Bradley spent more time with Gaga than her that’s for sure. He held court, he didn’t move from his area and Gaga was by his side the whole time.”
