A woman has shared how she ended her 14-year marriage to be with her ‘soulmate’ only for him to turn her down.
Amanda Trenfield has gone viral online after sharing her story of how she ended her marriage after meeting her soulmate.’
Sharing her story in The Sydney Morning Herald, Amanda said it all started when she attended a three-day conference with her husband and her eyes locked with a man named Jason during a formal dinner.
The woman said she lost her breath when their eyes met as there was an ‘instant familiarity.’
The pair then shared wine and dessert, then later enjoyed another glass of wine in the hotel bar, talking until early morning hours.
She recalled how the energy between them was ‘electric’ and ‘somehow charged’ and that she knew it was more than just physical attraction.’
“We enjoyed a body-hugging embrace where I whispered into his ear, ‘This isn’t over, I need to see you again.’ He put his hands tightly on my waist and pulled me close. ‘Yes,’ he replied. It was all I needed to hear,” she recalled.
“I had never felt anything like this before,” Amanda said.
“I now know without hesitation, without question, without any doubt in my mind, my body or my heart, that the energy we experienced that evening was our souls connecting.”
Amanda said she couldn’t focus on her job as she was completely distracted by the knowledge that she had just met the one.
One month later, she decided to end her 14-year marriage even though she didn’t have any communication with Jason since that dinner.
However, her supposed soulmate turned her down, leaving thousands of people online saying that this kind of story should be taken to the grave.
One person commented: “Girl they couldn’t have tortured this out of me at Guantanamo.”
