A 37-year-old woman who tied the knot with a rag doll named Marcelo says their marriage is now ‘hanging by a thread’ after he cheated on her.
Meirivone Rocha Moraes was very excited to celebrate their first wedding anniversary but she was left devastated when a friend saw Marcelo going into a motel with another woman.
It was in 2021 when the couple got married in a wedding ceremony attended by more than 200 guests.
After tying the knot, they welcomed their baby Marcelinho in a ‘home birth’ aided by a doctor and nurse.
But their relationship is now about to collapse as the mother-of-one baby-doll revealed that she and Marcelo are now sleeping in separate rooms after she found out that he’d been cheating on her.
Taking to TikTok, the heartbroken wife said: “I found out through a friend who told me that she saw Marcelo entering a motel with another woman while I was hospitalised for three nights and three days with Marcelinho, our son, who had a virus.”
“At first, I thought she was lying, but then I started looking through his phone and I saw the conversations, which made me sure he was cheating,” Meirivone went on.
She said that her husband denied everything and that he loves her very much.
Marcelo also broke down in tears and asked for forgiveness.
But when she asked who the other woman was, “he didn’t respond.”
Even though she considered kicking Marcelo out of the house, she decided to let him stay for their children.
“I wanted to put him out of the house but our baby is growing up and at this stage, he would miss his father a lot.
“Also, the love I feel for him made me forgive – not completely – but I don’t think I could live without my husband.”
