A frustrated husband was left angry at his wife as she refuses to pay for his kids from his previous relationship.
The man took to Reddit and claims his wife doesn’t want to pay ‘her fair share’ when it comes to his kids from his previous marriage.
“I have been married to my wife Stacey for five years and we have two children together. I also share three children with my ex wife Hannah,” he wrote.
The father-of-five revealed that ever since he and Stacey got together, she has made it clear that her three kids were not her responsibility.
“This has worked out well so far, but lately it has been taking a toll on me,” he continued.
The father said he pays his ex-wife child support every month and ever since he and his new wife had their first child, she has demanded the same amount of money every month.
“In addition, I have to pay for half of our joint household expenses (ie mortgage, utilities, food) and my own car. Stacey pays for the majority of expenses for our children,” he added.
The father said that Stacey picks all children up from school, drives them to activities, and makes sure all their needs are met.
“However, anytime she purchases anything for them, she immediately sends me a Venmo request and demands I cover all expenses related to children that are ‘not hers,’” he added.
Things went worse when Stacey started contributing money to college funds for her children while the dad and his ex-wife have nothing saved for their children’s college.
“Hannah found out and asked that I start funds for our kids. When I talked with Stacey about this, she said this was fine, but I had to put the same amount of money in the funds she has set up for our kids,” he went on.
But after telling Stacey that she needed to start paying her fair share of expenses as he couldn’t afford everything and she makes more money than him, she “blew up and took our children to our parent’s house and I haven’t heard from her in a day and a half.”
