Without a doubt, the challenges that mothers face after becoming a mother is truly overwhelming. While some are able to handle the process a little better than others, a few just might not be able to comprehend the huge change and responsibility that a brings with it, after entering the world.
One anonymous mother is going viral after she shed light on what it’s really like to be a mother. And clearly, what she had to say was definitely not something that many readers were expecting.
Speaking on the platform of Mumsnet, the mother revealed on the largest online parental forums out there how she’s so unhappy after having her baby. And just in case that wasn’t enough, she even advised other women out there to avoid getting pregnant as children just were not worth it.
“If you are at that point in your life where you are actually thinking of having a child, my advice for you is- don’t”- yes that is what the mom had to say, loud and clear.
But that wasn’t all. “If you do plan on going down this route, be aware that it may ruin your life forever”- she went on to state.
The mother’s words were most definitely seen as condescending as she spoke about how much she does adore her son but she also went on to mention how she regrets the decision so much. In case you’re wondering why, well, this is what she had to say on the matter.
“The whole experience has destroyed me mentally, physically, and it’s near to impossible for me to envisage a time where I can be happy again”- she said.
