“I May Be Rich But That Doesn’t Stop Me From Renting My Kids’ Christmas Gifts”- Mother With Six-Figure-Salary Reveals How She Stays Grounded


A mother who claims to have no shame when it comes to renting out Christmas gifts is revealing to the world how and why she manages to stay true to her roots, despite her wealth.

New mom Patsy Sandys may only be 35 but she earns a mega six-figure salary. However, that does not mean she’s willing to splurge on holiday gifts this year.

Speaking about how grateful she feels about her home, child, and other blessings- the mother of one said she’s thankful for everything and she intends on staying grounded during Christmas time as well.

“I’ve made the decision to rent out my child’s gift this year for the holidays instead of buying,” explained the investment director. “I promised myself that I would live in a more sustainable manner this year, after giving birth to my son in August,” she went on to add.

Living in South West London, this not-so-fancy mother says she and her husband are doing well for themselves in the world of finance and investment but if you think that would make them splurge on the smallest of things, you better think again.

The mother shed light on how she also rents her party outfits too, purchases second-hand technology-related devices, and is also thinking about hiring and giving back her baby’s gifts after Christmas time is over.

“I’m doing the opposite of what most people do. I’m not letting my wealth get in my way. Instead, we’ve decided to spend our Christmas in a very low-key and subtle manner as it should be,” the 35-year-old added.

The rich mother says many people usually let the holiday season get over their heads and that leads to excessive splurging on things that they don’t even need. “Just because you can afford it, it doesn’t mean you need to buy it,” she explained.
