A disappointed father has spoken out and revealed how he got back at his disrespectful son who banned him from his wedding.
As the dad in question explained, he and his wife were uninvited from their son’s wedding because the young man and his in-laws believe they would “embarrass” them because they aren’t good enough.
According to the father, there were no problems for years and they have grown to like their future daughter-in-law. They even let their son and his bride-to-be live in the second house the father had bought and is paying taxes for.
Everything changed, however, when he and the rest of the family met with the bride’s relatives.
“We hold a little get to know you BBQ at the PA house, my son and daughter are there, as are our son’s fiancé and her parents, and sisters. We all seem to be getting along well, my wife, daughter and the fiancé go into the house along with her mother and sisters and my son,” the angry dad wrote.
“A few minutes later my wife and daughter come out and are really upset. The come over and tell me we’re leaving and driving back to NJ. I try to find out what happened. Once we get back to NJ and they calmed down they tell me that our son and his fiancé along with her family don’t want us at the wedding.”
He continued: “According to what I was told ‘We’re not their kind of people.’ I was livid, I called my son and asked him WTH this was about. He tells me that her family feel that we are not good enough and will embarrass them at a family wedding and that we are all uninvited from the wedding.”
The father went on to say it took him more than a week to calm down enough to visit his son again only to find out that his in-laws had moved into his house.
Not only did the son’s in-laws move into the dad’s house but they went on to demand he leaves his own house after he told them he wanted to talk to his son alone.
“I lost it, and told them that they had 30 days to get out. Tell my son I’m selling the house and he could find somewhere else to live with all of you. I go to a realtor in town and list the house for sale,” the angry father added.
“They call my son at work and tell him what I said. Apparently they thought that he owned the house. He calls me and asks why I’m selling his house, I tell him I paid for it along with the taxes on it and it is mine. He was living there rent free, but since he doesn’t want us in his new life, he has to get out.”
After opening up about the bizarre incident, the father asked the internet if he was in the wrong for kicking his son and the in-laws out of his house after they disrespected him and the rest of his family.
As expected, people were quick to side with the dad and blast the son and his in-laws for being “entitled” and “disrespectful.”
“They all moved into your house?? That’s so bizarre. Tell them they’re not your kind of people, aka, squatters,” someone wrote.
“The parents that own two houses aren’t good enough? More like the grifters realized during the BBQ that mom, dad, and sister weren’t going to be as gullible as their future son in law,” another suggested.
The third said: “Your son must not be very smart. What did he think would happen if he let his in laws try to kick you out of a house you own? Why would you let people whose openly say you aren’t good enough live rent free in your house?”
