If this sounds cramped to you, that’s probably because you can’t imagine fitting your life and family into a 300-square-foot space.

The Harger family, incredibly, makes it work. With a creative spin on their space, dual-purpose furniture, and a minimalist lifestyle, they magically live comfortably in the three-bedroom trailer.

Watch as Heather welcomes you into their home and show you around. You won’t believe how they make such a small space livable for all six of them.

The Hargers are a unique family. The couple has four children that are all home schooled in their RV, which means they spend a lot of time living in close quarters.

Their oldest son has a chronic immune system condition called eosinophilic esophagitis that impacts his digestive system. He has to follow a very strict diet that requires a water distiller, juicer, and dedicated cooking space.

This would be difficult for any family, but following this diet is especially difficult when you don’t have much space for equipment or cooking. But they do it!

The family moved from Florida to live in South Africa. They work with communities there to help people living in poverty and transform their lives. In this way, their small living fits into their values.

The family has an outdoor space for eating, homeschooling, and enjoying the outdoors. They moved their table outdoors so they could have more space inside.

The RV is equipped with plenty of storage space and they use every inch of it. They used bright paint and fabrics to liven the place up and keep it fun and cute.

The kids sleep in two rooms with bunk-beds on one side and storage on the other. The bedrooms are like traditional bedrooms—the kids even have doors so they have some private space.

A small staircase leads up to a small bathroom and a master bedroom. The couple has a full-size bed, which allows them even more storage space underneath.

While I certainly can’t imagine living with so many people in a small space, many people can. Tiny homes have increased in popularity over the past few years.
