One woman is revealing her utter heartbreak after her own sister opted to steal her dead child’s name and now, she’s asking for opinions from netizens if that’s fair.

The thought of having another child in your own family be named after your beloved child that you lost recently has literally turned her world upside down. She claims that it’s so hard to be recalled the pain and suffering on a daily basis, knowing that her sister chose that name without keeping her sentiments in mind.

Taking her complaints to Mumsnet, the woman adds how her sister never even asked her if that would be okay to use the name of her deceased offspring. And the more she thinks about it, the more upset she gets. And now, she does not know what to do.

Many netizens stepped in to give this woman some advice. The majority felt that it was the most selfish and greedy decision on the planet. But others felt that it was a nice little tribute to honor her lost child. But the woman disagrees.

The woman has even gone ahead and spoken to netizens about how stealing a name that carries so much value and emotional attachment is weird.

Her child passed away just 14 hours after getting delivered. The wounds will never heal, the mom adds. And then when you’re constantly reminded of how selfish your own loved ones can be, the pain is still very fresh, despite two years passing by.

The majority of netizens felt that she was not at all being unreasonable and deserved the right to be upset at her sister.
