Mother-Of-Two Slammed By Other Parents After She Revealed The ‘Unhealthy Snack’ She Feeds Her Children

Most parents know exactly how difficult parenting can be, and preparing meals for your little ones amid busy schedules can also add to exhaustion.

While some parents prepare meals in advance, others opt for easy and quick dinners.

But one mother has been labeled ‘lazy’ by other parents after she revealed the after-school snack she feeds her children.

The busy mother-of-two shared that she gives her children pizza when they return home after a long day from school.

Her children love pizza and that she buys extra to make sure that there are many leftovers for when they come back from school.

She explained that she prepares some slices of pizza in zip-lock bags then reheats it in an air fryer.

“I freeze them in zip lock bags in slices of 2-3 and the kids can warm them up in the air fryer,” she said.

But shortly after posting her hack, other parents were quick to express their concerns over the late afternoon snack, with many saying that it contains too much fats for it to be a daily snack.

One parent said: “Takeaway pizza has so much fat and salt. It should be a once-a-week food for kids. Kids can make the sandwiches easily themselves too. And probably safer than letting them use an air fryer on their own. Just saying.”

But others defended the mother’s decision and said that they have also fed their kids reheated takeaway pizza.

“Let her do what she wants to do if it works for her you’re not living there,” one wrote.

Another commented: “My son uses the stove, oven and air fryer, uses the same kitchen knives as me. Risk isn’t a bad thing. Neither is this mum’s afternoon tea idea.”
