No matter how big or small, parents love seeing the crafts of their children and many of these impressive creations are displayed in the living room or on refrigerators.
But one mother was left howling after seeing her 5-year-old daughter’s homemade dreamcatcher hanging above her bed.
And nope, this mom won’t be displaying her daughter’s little creation at all.
Renae Smiler was so delighted to hear her daughter created a homemade dreamcatcher, so when she rushed to her room to see it, she didn’t expect it to be made with a very familiar material.
She immediately realized that her daughter’s dreamcatcher was a tampon fixed above her child’s headboard.
Taking to TikTok, Renae shared a video of herself going into her daughter’s room but couldn’t contain her laughter as she showed her followers her daughter’s multi-purpose dream catcher.
She wrote over the video: “My 5yo told me she made a dream catcher for her room.”
“Tampon DIY. I am so done,” Ranae wrote with a laughing emoji.
She also joked that her daughter would no longer be proud with her creation “in a few years when she finds out what it is.”
Her TikTok video has been viewed over 900k times, and many have been left in stitches at the younger’s resourcefulness.
One follower commented: “That is a profound piece of art right there. I’m not even joking, keep it and give it to her at 35.”
Another said: “I mean, it’s def made to catch something.. but just not in that way.”
A third added: “Love this. Many uses, I made a nest with a few for Easter Bunny to leave eggs in as a kid.”
