A mother has hit back at cruel people online who mocked the name she picked for her baby boy.
TikToker Jasmine Chriswell has gained popularity on the platform as she works as a Marilyn Monroe lookalike.
She and her husband Maverick McNeilly decided to name their child Midnight but after sharing it on social media, she received thousands of negative messages and remarks about their pick.
Jasmine has now taken to TikTok and hit back at online trolls who slammed her baby boy’s unique name. She also shared some names that they would have picked if they were having a baby girl.
Captioning the video “answering one of our most asked questions,” the mother said: “Oh my goodness, ok let me tell you.
“So before we knew we were expecting a boy we had already chosen a few names if it was a girl.
“One of the first ones was Rose, because we just really thought the name was cute and the other one was Scarlett because we thought that was cute, too.
“And I think that was all our choices so, yeah, that would have been it!”
Her video has been viewed more than two million times and has received thousands of comments from people who praised her name choices.
“Scarlett Rose Chriswell is SUCH a pretty name,” one person wrote.
“Maybe if your next baby is a girl, the name could match midnight. Like daylight, twilight, aurora, or dusk. Those would be beautiful,” another suggested.
“I have a suggestion Dawn, to go with midnight,” a third added.
“Midnight is an absolutely amazing name for a boy, I love it. Night for short is amazing too,” someone else said.
