A wife has gone viral on social media after she posted a voice note from her husband telling her not to do the washing again.
Candy Gigi, who goes under the username @candygigiyoung on TikTok, shared a video of her husband berating her and telling her to ‘do better’ because of her laundry-hanging technique that has divided opinions online.
“Please never ever do the washing again,” her husband’s message says.
“I cannot believe how badly you’ve put those clothes on the rack. Don’t bother. There’s no point if you’re going to do it that badly,” the message continues.
“I don’t care about the baby,” he adds. “I know it’s difficult.”
He also said that the clothes she had hung would “never have dried” as they were “piled up.”
“How do you explain that?” the husband demands. “These socks will appear willy-nilly. It’s a disgrace. You’re badly trained, ill-mannered, and you should do better.”
In Candy’s caption, she asks: “Any other married people relate to this nonsense?”
Her video has amassed over 65,000 likes and hundreds of comments, with one person writing: “This is my husband’s inner dialogue as he wouldn’t dare ever say those words out loud.”
Another wrote: “You’re all acting like he’s serious. When has anyone said willy nilly in an argument and meant it? PLSSS.”
A third said: “The violence behind willy nilly killed me.”
Others expressed their concern, with one TikToker commenting: “Ok this started out funny and by the end, I was actually quite concerned.”
