A man has declared that he is planning to live with his mother until he’s 50 because he doesn’t want to get a full-time job.
Anthony Voulgaris from Australia shared his decision with his followers on TikTok, saying he does not believe work is ‘for him.’
“I’d just like to formally come on here and announce that I don’t think full-time work is for me. Yeah, personally not for me,” he expressed.
Anthony said that he would give reasons but there are not many. “I just personally don’t think that it aligns with my beliefs, you know my belief system, and that you can’t force someone to believe what you believe, so yeah.”
Many people were quick to agree with him, with one person commenting: “I don’t think WORK is for me. Period.”
Another said: “Personally I’m on your level, I’m fact I think I was born to be a stay at home mum/ housewife so yeah nah no work for me.”
A third said: “I believe in the money. I don’t believe in the labor.”
Anthony previously mentioned about living with his parents for as long as he could.
“I get free food, I get my washing done for me – that’s lucky, a lot of people don’t get that – I’m not moving out ever.”
He added at that time: “If I can stay here until I’m 50, I will. I’m slaving off of these people and I’ll continue to do so, happily.”
While most adults do not like the idea of living with their moms and dads especially when they have their own families, there has been an increase in people living with their parents into adulthood due to the increasing cost of living and house prices, mortgage rates, and rents.
