Welcoming a new member of the family is one of the most exciting feelings in the world.
But one grandmother was left feeling disappointed when she found out the gender of her grandchild.
Dani Florez took to Twitter and shared a video of her gender reveal as her grandma’s temper tantrum was caught on camera, leaving everyone in stitches.
In the viral video, which has been viewed more than 4 million times, Dani can be seen letting off confetti cannons as she and her partner announce that they are having a baby boy.
Their loved ones were thrilled and jumped for joy but her grandma, who was not impressed by the gender reveal.
The grandma shook her head and threw her hands up in the air as she walked away from cheering family members.
“Core memory: My grandma getting upset after finding out we’re having a boy because she wanted a girl,” Dani captioned in the video.
Even though the grandma was not happy in the clip, Dani explained that she immediately got over her ‘tantrum.’
“The contrast between everyone celebrating and then her ps: she’s very happy! This was just her one-minute tantrum,” she added.
Dani’s video immediately received 970,000 likes and thousands of comments, with one person joking: “The poor woman is expiring. She wants a granddaughter give her a break!”
Another wrote: “I could see how she just wanted to love to see a grand baby named after her. I find it so sweet it meant so much.”

A third added: “Grandma’s start acting like little kids when they reach that age. It’s so cute, I love seeing how [child-like] mine got as she got older.”
