Late Night Show is one of the most popular shows on TV right now and we all watch it every once or twice at least in a while.
Remember Jay Leno, the ex-host of the show? Well, the man is not laughing right now because he has something serious to say about the show.
Jay Leno says that he is very disappointed with the show as it has taken a completely different turn. He said that the show was not meant for this but has turned extremely political now.
Jay Leno was called to the “Today” show for an interview and when co-host Al Roke asked him about his opinion and whether he misses being a part of the show, the 68 years old man, without any sigh said a straight “No.”
He said “No I don’t miss the show anymore because it is nothing like the way I had left it. Everyone has to know the complete politics now and that was not the way I carried it out.
I used to get hate mails from both the side of an issue and I liked it but now it has become one-sided. Besides, there is no more fun left, it has turned out to be very serious now.”
Although he said there is too much politics in the show he still managed to defend his successor in the show when it came to making jokes with Trump.
He said “making jokes on the president is not easy. Earlier we could have laughed after saying, oh it is like a porn star with the president but hey, it is the truth now, the porn star is with the president.”
He said that the show is no more the same because the news is no more the same. He says that every person wants to be in the news now and because of the same there is just too much news all around.
He said that the agenda they used before was that they made fun of the news but now they cannot do it at the same pace anymore.
