Muslim Restaurant Owner Offered Free Meals To Homeless People On Christmas Day

That is why a Muslim restaurant owner in London did something great on Christmas without anticipating that it would go viral.

Instead of charging a bit higher or closing his restaurant during the Christmas day, Hasan Masud decided to keep his Turkish restaurant open. He also posted a sign:

No one eats alone on a Christmas Day!

We are here to sit with you!

Three-course meal for the homeless from 12-6 PM.

Any homeless or elderly are welcome!

Although he doesn’t celebrate Christmas, Hasan wanted to ensure that those who do were given a meal and cared for. In the sign, he also included Soup and Cacik for starters, Chicken Casserole, Chicken Shish, and Vegetarian Casserole for the main course, and Rice Pudding for dessert.

After posting the sign, those who passed by his restaurant noticed it right away. People shared it online and liked by millions of viewers around the world. According to Hasan, he didn’t understand the fuss, and he just wanted to make others happy, especially those who needed help.

We’re just helping people… lots of people stay home alone for Christmas… They don’t need to. They can come here and have some fun,” he expressed.
