Friends of EuroMillions winner Adrian Bayford claim he is lonely and rarely leaves his mansion after a series of failed relationships.
Adrian, a former postman who won £148 million jackpot in 2012, eats 50 Cornish pasties a week because they remind him of his childhood.
Adrian rarely leaves his mansion and when he does, locals try to pick fights with him and taunt him because of his wealth.
A barman told newspaper: ‘People think it’s funny to go up to him when he’s having a pint and ask why he’s not buying champagne. They try to pick a fight and it works.’
His worried friends claim he is lonely after a series of failed relationships as Adrian and his wife Gillian Bayford divorced just 15 months after winning the lottery and he has been dumped three times since winning the lottery.
Richard Hudspith, who used to run Adrian’s record shop, the Suffolk Music Centre, told newspaper:
‘He just wants to live a quiet life now. The only thing he can do is withdraw and disassociate himself, not necessarily from the outside world, but try to not encourage any interest.’
According to the report, the 48-year-old has paid people to be his friends including his full-time boxing coach.
