A CCTV camera in a Turkish street has captured a dramatic footage of a man diving to headbutt another man to the ground who was repeatedly beating his ex-wife.

In the footage, the abusive man can be seen hitting a defenseless woman on the head.
The man continues to hit her with what appears to be rolled up papers until the woman falls to her knees and screams for help.
As the brute stops his attack, another man rushes towards him intending to take him down.
He dives at the abusive man and headbutts him to the ground.
His engagement with the brute catches the attention of passers-by who soon start gathering at the incident.
One man who witnessed the whole incident said: ‘The man was beating his wife. She was crying and screaming. Then a passer-by knocked him down.’
Another witness told: ‘It was terrifying. The woman was yelling the place down. She was trying to protect herself. This kind of violence in unacceptable,’ the Sun reported.
It is not clear where the clip was filmed in Turkey but according to the local media reports, the abusive man who was named as Mehmet T. was later arrested.
According to the reports, the incident happened after the couple, who are believed to be divorced, attended a hearing at Istanbul Court of Justice.
