Bob Saget’s daughter has shared a screenshot of the last message her beloved father had sent to her before passing away.
The 65-year-old stand-up comedy legend was found dead in his hotel room on Sunday afternoon just hours after his performance in Jacksonville, California.
The actor’s sudden death, of which the cause is yet unknown, took the entertainment world by surprise with thousands of people paying the comedian a tribute.
While grieving the passing of her father, 34-year-old Aubrey Saget prepared a touching Instagram story in which she shared a screenshot of her dad’s final text to her.
The message read: “Thank U. Love u. Showtime!”
After the text message, Saget went on with his stand-up comedy performance which was a part of his cross-country trip. Just hours after returning to his Ritz-Carlton hotel room in Orlando, the actor was found dead by the staff.
Since Saget’s sudden passing, the police have revealed that drugs and foul play are not suspected of playing a part in the actor’s death.
“We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today,” the Saget family wrote after receiving the dreadful news.
“He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.
“Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”
While the cause of Bob’s death remains unclear, an insider has since told DailyMail.com that the comedian died in his sleep.
Meanwhile, the Orange County chief medical examiner confirmed that it could take several months before the cause of death is determined.
