BA, EasyJet, Flybe, Tui, and Virgin Has Offered Jobs to The Former Employees of Thomas Cook


On 23rd of September, Thomas Cook, one of the oldest holidaymaker company closed down due to bankruptcy as the company had to pay a massive amount of debt.

The flights of the company were ceased immediately and the passengers who had their flights and holiday packages booked with the company were asked to remain home.

Yes, there were more than 150,000 passengers who suffered from the shutdown of the company, but the passengers are certainly not the only one who are suffering.

More than 21,000 employees have lost their jobs as the company announced its destiny out of which 9,000 employees were in the UK.

On 23rd September, the employees were seen leaving the company’s head office with their eyes bursting with tears of grief. The employees kept sharing their grief on twitter all day long, along with other users who were trying to be a part of their grief.

For the employees who have lost their jobs, it is the most difficult time as the company also announced that they will be unable to pay the salary of the employees for the month of September as well.

At the time of crisis, several rival companies of Thomas Cook came up to rescue as they offered jobs especially for the former employees of Thomas Cook.

British Airways, Virgin, Flybe, EasyJet, and Tui have come up with opportunities for Thomas Cook employees as Virgin has released 7 job positions for Thomas Cook employees.

EasyJet has also come up with cabin crew positions in Bristol, Luton, Stansted bases, Glasgow, and Southend. They also have openings at airports in Berlin.

Flybe is also calling Thomas Cook engineering staff for recruitment Clayton Hotel in Manchester on 25th of September between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
