An employee named Cody Hidalgo had never ever thought in his wildest dreams that he will lose his job for sharing a meme.
Yes! You heard it right he was fired because his meme offended his boss.
Cody shared a meme on his Facebook account which reads, ”Boss makes a dollar, I make a dime. That’s why I poop on company time.”
We don’t know what is so controversial in it as Cody and his boss are the only people who know the full context or background to this story.
According to the conversation between Cody and his boss Andy it seems the former has been an awful employee. Cody shared a post telling his friends that he got fired because of sharing a meme and also shared the chat he had with his boss on Facebook.
The conversation reads:
Boss: ”We don’t make a dollar when your shi**ing all the time. Why don’t you stay home and do your shi**ing? I don’t like to play your bulls**t games. Maybe there’s a company out there that would put up with your games cause I won’t. Good luck!”
Cody: ”What are you talking about..?”
Boss: ”Look on your Facebook page, do you think thing don’t get around ?”
Cody: ”Because I shared a funny meme..? On a Sunday? When I’m not at work?”
Boss: ”You brought work into it on a Sunday.”
Cody: ”So you’re going to fire me over a meme I shared? That was nowhere relevant to work at all. I share things I think are funny all the time. Its a meme Andy why are you doing all of this over a meme.”
