It is absolutely heartbreaking for a child to see its parent die.
It is even more heartbreaking when the parent dies when the child is not around. Losing a parent is the biggest loss in the world.
And EMINEM is going through the same right now as his father passed away due to a cardiac arrest at the age of 67. The only difference here is that the rapper is not sad or heart broken because he has a completely different story.
Marshall Bruce Mathers was the father of the rapper we all have in our hearts, but the rapper and his father never really shared a bond.
According to EMINEM’s story, they never had a bond. EMINEM’s mother Debbie and his father Mathers married when she was just 15 and he was 22.
Two years later they had a son and his father left when he was just 6 months old. Since then, he and his mother had been on a run and then stayed with their family for a while then they moved to another neighborhood.
He said he wrote several letters to his father while he was growing up but never got a reply instead he got his letters back.
He said that his father used to call at times but never talked to him. He always had issues regarding his father and due to the same, he dropped out of high school when he was 17.
It was later in life when he got his success.
Mathers then published a letter to his son where he wrote that he was not the one who ran away but it was his wife.
He wrote that he has forever been in love with his son and has always wanted to hug him once.
He wrote that he has enough money and he is not trying to contact his son for money, he does not need any but just to see him once.
But EMINEM clearly denied him the meet the old man was craving because he never wrote him back in his entire life.
