Eminem, aka Slim Shady, says that the “proudest” moment for him as a father was seeing his daughter graduate from college with her boyfriend.
Eminem, known in certain circles as the “Rap God,” admitted that he couldn’t be happier than he was when his daughter Hailie, aged 23, passed out of her college.
Hailie graduated from Michigan State University with her boyfriend Evan McClintock in 2018.
The rapper shares his daughter with ex-wife Kimberly Scott.
Eminem, 47, appeared on Mike Tyson’s Hot Boxin’ podcast where he candidly discussed his personal life with the show host.
He was proudly discussing the achievement of his daughter and happily told how he saw his little girl grow up so fast.
Eminem, who mostly keeps his private life shrouded in secrecy, said: “Hailie is 23, no babies, she has a boyfriend, but she’s doing good.
“She’s made me proud for sure, she’s graduated from college.”
Eminem is also the parent of Whitney, Kimberly’s daughter from her previous husband, whom the Rap God adopted as well as Kim’s niece Alania.
Speaking about his other two daughters, the proud dad said: “It definitely is crazy.
“I have a niece that I have helped raise too that’s pretty much like a daughter to me and she is 26. And I have a younger one that’s 17 now.
“So when I think about my accomplishments that’s probably the thing I’m the most proud of is that – is being able to raise kids.”
Hailie is in a relationship with Evan for a long time. The two reportedly met for the first time during Hailie’s time at Michigan State University.
The couple started dating back in 2016 when Hailie was studying psychology at Michigan State University and Evan was a student of economics.
Eminem’s appearance in Mike Tyson’s Hot Boxin’ podcast is the first public appearance of the rapper after the release of his latest video for the song Godzilla.
