Have you ever seen Ellen takes a call during her show?
I am a big fan of her and I have watched almost every episode of her show but I have never seen her taking a call from anyone during the show.
Even somebody calls her, she doesn’t get it unless it’s urgent.
During the show, while she was about to introduce her first guest, Ellen got a call from her receptionist Ginny asking whether Ellen has a second for an urgent call. This is not expected from a professional person who works in a big show
She interrupted the whole show and there was a good reason for the interruption.

Ginny wanted to deliver a letter that Ellen would want to know right away because the person who wrote the letter was sitting in the audience that day.
It was the letter from Kim.
Kim was already full with tears in her eyes as the camera panned to her and her mother, Becky. Ginny read the letter to Ellen during the show and Ellen welcomed Kim and Becky to the stage.
This family has a very wonderful reason to love Ellen. They both had breast cancers; 4 months after Becky’s diagnosis, Kim also got breast cancer diagnosed.

Kim and Becky went through chemotherapy together. During their therapy, they watched Ellen show together and it was the most exciting time of the day. They could laugh because of Ellen.
As Kim is planning a wedding next year, Ellen prepared the present for her. Something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.
You will never believe what Ellen gave Kim for her wedding gift. It is jaw-dropping.
I have liked Ellen since I first watched The Ellen Show but after watching this video, I fall in love with her!
