Animals, although, are different for humans and have different emotions, if they have any. Scientists have accepted that elephants represent emotions just like humans. Affection, hatred, sympathy, anger are a few they show.
All the female animals in the tribe make loud noises out of their trunk as a celebration when a baby is born in the tribe. It is a time of utter joy for them and they love to express it out.
Elephant mothers even go into depression or a state of despondency when her calf dies. These all show that elephants are human-like when it comes to emotions.
