Africa is the home of elephants.
It is home to hundreds and hundreds of elephants.
The one thing about elephants is that they are highly social animals and they live all their lives in groups.
If they do not get in a group, their survival can get difficult and they can even die due to it.
This incident was recorded on camera and we can see an absolutely adorable baby here. A young baby elephant fell in a well and had no idea how to get out of it.
He was not a part of any group so the elephants were not there to get him out.
Two electricians saw the baby struggling and came in the rescue.
The rescue men worked hard and pulled the 100kgs baby out of the well. He tried enough too. The workers said that he is a bright elephant.
The baby was taken out and just had a few scratches.
They rescue workers tried to take him out and get him into a group of wild elephants but none took him in so they transported him to a care home.
The baby s getting fitter each day and is very well taken care of. He is doing great and is healthy.
He is growing up fast and will soon be capable of finding a group for himself.
