This curious third-grader, instead of cowering under covers, got out of his bed to see what was going on.

When he peeked outside from his bedroom window, he saw his neighbor, 81-year-old Sue Watson, lying on the floorboards of her garage.

Caleb was very fond of the woman because she was very nice to him and his six-year-old sister Hannah. She always used to bring treats for them both, on any occasion.

He was angered when he saw that cars were passing by, yet no one stopping to help her. So then, he decided to do something about it. Instead of telling his parents about the incident, he forsook his house rules and ran to help the lady, barefoot that too.

While taking the trash out of her garage, Watson felt dizzy and fell there, right on the pavement. Her family said that she was lying there for quite some time.

She had dislocated a shoulder, and one of her hips bones were broken, she was taken to the hospital. Watson later said that for a little boy, Caleb showed a lot of kindness.

Watson’s daughter-in-law Cindy said, “Caleb is our hero!”

Caleb’s parents, on the other hand, were impressed by his quick wits and they ended up foreseeing the fact that he left the home without asking.
