The ‘Shape of You’ singer Ed Sheeran and wife Cherry Seaborn are allegedly expecting their firstborn in a matter of weeks.
According to The Sun, a source told the outlet that the couple, who are doing their best to keep their private life away from the spotlight, is very excited to welcome a new family member but “have kept things very low key.”
Sheeran and Seaborn, who first met when they were in high school, are known for keeping their personal lives as private as possible. Previously, in 2019, the couple tied the knot in an isolated ceremony that was allegedly attended by just forty close family members and friends.
“Ed and Cherry are over the moon. They’re very excited, but have kept things very low key,” an insider allegedly told The Sun.
“Lockdown was a perfect excuse not to be seen out and about too much, but things are getting closer and the excitement has been building so they have started telling friends and family.”
According to the source, the couple is now already in their last phase of preparations for the baby who is “expected later this summer.”
“It’s a really happy time and their families are all totally delighted for them and cannot wait to meet the new arrival,” the source concluded according to The Sun.
The happy news follows months after the ‘Perfect’ hitmaker announced he was taking a break from his career to focus on his personal life.
