Joey Chestnut, who is also a YouTuber, successfully obliterated 32 of McDonald’s signature Big Macs in less than 40 minutes – 38 minutes and 15 seconds, to be accurate.

In those 38 minutes, the professional scoffer who has 50,000 YouTube followers, ate 15.36lbs of burgers. That adds up to 18,016 calories.

To put those numbers in perspective, you might need to note that the average calorie intake of an average human is 17,500 calories a week!

You can see the 13-minute-long video of the act on Joey’s YouTube channel. Five minutes into the video, the man starts sweating badly and you can tell that he is by no means enjoying the act.

He ate at a speed where his biting rate surpassed the pace at which he could chew, making the whole thing a bit difficult and a lot messy for him.

It has not yet been confirmed but sources have it that the last world record was set for eating 30 Big Macs at a time.

That means Joey has actually re-written history.

Captioning his YouTube video in which Joey accomplished the impossible feat, he wrote: “Since being a kid, I’ve dreamed about eating as many Big Macs as I could.

“As the ultimate cheat day event, I ordered 32 Big Mac sandwiches from Uber Eats and recorded the experience. According to McDonald’s, the Big Mac features two 100 percent pure beef patties and Big Mac sauce sandwiched between a sesame seed bun.

“It’s topped off with pickles, crisp lettuce, onions and American cheese for a 100 percent beef burger with a taste like no other.

“I remember being a little kid and they would sell two Big Macs for $4 and me and my grandpa would get four of them. I’d end up eating three.

“And this is bringing me back to being a kid. Me and my grandpa would go back to the same McDonald’s every time.

“And it’s crazy, when I drive by that McDonald’s I still kinda just think about it. I think about all the times I was there with my grandpa and it’s weird the way that food takes you back and helps you remember things. With Big Macs, I definitely remember my grandpa.”

He added: “I ate 32 Big Mac in 38 minutes, 15 seconds. The meal is equivalent to 15.36 pounds and 18,016 calories.

“I’m still amazed at how good the Big Macs tasted. It’s so much easier to eat a food that you’re familiar with and your body just already knows.”

Other than consuming huge amounts of burgers, the man likes to feast on hot dogs. He has a record for eating 74 hot dogs in 10 minutes, a feat he accomplished back in 2018.

Joey has lost only one of the last 13 Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contests, which is regarded as the Super Bowl of hot dog eating.

He also has a knack for wings as he consumed 413 of them within 12 hours on National Chicken Wings Day.
