Meghan Markle is rarely seen in anything but high heels.
But the mother-to-be broke the fashion protocol when she slipped into a seemingly simple pair of black flats for the schlep up to the Sydney’s Opera House on day one of the Royal Tour of Australia.

This is a clear proof that ‘Meghan effect’ is alive and thriving. Yesterday, when the Duchess debuted her tiny baby bump in a Karen Gee dress, the brand’s site crashed immediately as people across the globe hollered to purchase the item.
Astonishingly, internet searches for ‘purple folder’ also peaked when Meghan stepped off her Qantas flight grasping two such items.
It seems like whatever Meghan is wearing or holding it sells like hotcakes on the internet within a few hours. Girls certainly look up to her as their role model.
Well, there is no doubt; the Duchess is surely a trendsetter and a fashion icon.
