Scientists have conducted studies on mice in the laboratory, which were successful. Now they are planning to conduct the same study on pancreatic cancer patients as well.
There’s no doubt in asserting that pancreatic cancer is the deadliest form of cancer. According to medical study, only 5% of patients survive from the wraths of this life-threatening cancer.
Around 9,000 people in the UK and 56,000 in the US are affected by pancreatic cancer every year. A majority of patients die during the diagnosis only.
The finding of a drug combination that can possibly treat this deadly cancer has brought a ray of hope to all those patients and families who have been struggling.
