In recent news, Nickelodeon Star Drake Bell, also known as Drake in “Drake & Josh,” has been charged with several crimes such as incidents against children, receiving multiple reports that have been confirmed this last Friday.
According to the sources, Bell is facing an account of attempted endangerment of a child while the second charge is disseminating matter harmful to juveniles. There is no clear direction as to what started the charges, but sources claim that he had been engaging in an inappropriate chat with a victim and at the time, it was “sexual in nature”.
Bell’s lawyer is unable to be contacted and will not comment on the situation. So far, Bell has been asked to submit his DNA, a normal practice to do in Ohio.
The incident is said to have taken place back in 2017 during December, and at that time, Bell was scheduled to be performing at a club located in Cleveland. He was said to have appeared in court last Thursday, entering a not guilty plea alongside a $2,500 bond. He cannot contact the victim with any form of communication.

He has also been charged with “disseminating matter harmful to juveniles,” which is a result of suspects who have “directly [sold] or [delivered] any material or performance that is “obscene or harmful to juveniles”.
Bell has been in trouble with law enforcement before, being in jail for driving under the influence. He had been sentenced to jail four days at a time, and it was his second DUI conviction in the past six years.
The actor was born in California and had found fame as a child actor, appearing on many shows under Nickelodeon. He has also had songs hit the Billboard 200.
