We all love Chinese food as it is always as good as it tastes. Today, we are sharing the recipe of an amazing Chinese dish named ‘Dragon Eggplant.’ The dish is made up of eggplants that look like a Chinese dragon.
Many people may think that it’s impossible to turn an eggplant into something that resembles a Chinese dragon. But the truth is, it’s not! You just need a few eggplants, various types of spices, some olive oil, a pan and a skillet to make this amazing dish.
Here is the recipe for the dish that looks as amazing as it tastes.
- 3 Eggplants
- 1 Cup Beef
- Olive Oil
- 3 Cloves of Garlic
- 1 Tbsp Ginger
- 1/8 Chili Sauce
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- ¼ Cup Soy Sauce
- ¼ Cup Sugar
- 2 Cups of Chicken Broth
Start by slicing slanted each eggplant on one side then slice vertically on the opposite. It will look like a Chinese dragon once you are finished.
Now, dip the eggplant into cornstarch evenly and try to remove excess cornstarch.
Next, heat the oil in a skillet, add the eggplants into the skillet and start cooking them. Be sure to press the eggplants with a spatula to make things even.
Now, Take another pan and add olive oil, beef, ginger, garlic and chili sauce. Stir them for a few minutes then add the salt, sugar, pepper, soy sauce and chicken broth. After bringing your pan to a boil, add the eggplants.
Fry the eggplants until they turn golden brown. When you’re finished, sprinkle the eggplants with some chopped greens and little red chili for flavor.
