Dealing drugs without permission from the authority is considered as a very serious crime in all over the world.
This is why the dealers find out ways where the authorities never find out that the drugs are being traded or transported.
Florida was recently hit by the hurricane Dorian but before that more than a dozen packets carrying cocaine washed off the top the shore.
While a police inspector was taking foot patrol on the Paradise Beach, a local came up to him with a suspicious packet he had found on the beach and after the testing it was found out that the plastic packet had cocaine.
On more investigation, it was found out that there were around 12 plastic packages were found on the beach.
The packets had a label ‘D-I-A-M-A-N-T’ written on them. As per the investigation, the word would have been diamantes. This word translated to Diamond in Spanish.
On further examination of the packets, it was found out that the packets contained 1 kg of cocaine each.
When the police were asked to comment on the situation they denied to speak out for now.
Within a few hours, the police received a call informing that another bag containing 15 similar bricks have washed on the shore of Cocoa Beach which is just 20 miles north from Florida.
As per the authorities, the price of a kg of cocaine in the market is around $20,000 and $30,000 which means that the total amount of cocaine that has washed off the shore is estimated to be worth more than $400,000.
The bag full of stash was then turned to the US customs department.
This is not the first time such incident is happening because, around the world, several such cases of bricks of drugs coming out of the sea has been reported.
