A dog is human’s best friend, we all have heard this statement thousands of times and there is no denial to it.
A dog has bags full of love for their human and no matter what the humans decide to do, their love can never change.
They understand everything about their human and still chose to love them. It is the purest form of selfless love. They are a bundle of joy and nothing comes before their human to them.
Well, new research has found out that not only their conscious but their subconscious is also always stuck in love with their humans because dogs have dreams of their beloved humans just like we have dreams of our loved ones.
If you are a dog owner then you must have thought of what goes on when your dog is asleep. What they think and what they see in their dreams. Well, yes they get dreams and here we have the answer to your curiosity, they are probably dreaming of you in their dream.
Dr. Deirdre Barrett who is a Clinical and Evolutionary Psychologist and a Teacher at Harvard Medical School has always been curious about sleeping and dreaming patterns of humans.
For the same, she has been studying it for years and years now. Interpreting the same findings on to the dogs she said there is a possibility.
Although it is impossible to be 100% sure about it because animals do not talk about their dream but at the end of the day, humans are animals too and for the same reason, we have the same sleeping pattern.
On this, she states that it is clear that almost all the mammals have similar sleeping patterns. This means they move in the same pattern from flowy to less active brain part to the movement of the eye called REM (Rapid Eye Movement).
REM is the last stage and this is the stage where the dreams take place in humans as well as other mammals. So the next time you see your fluff ball sleeping, there is a high chance they are thinking of you.
