The Dog Who Was Chained For His Entire Life Saw The Ocean For The First Time


Herschel is an adorable German shepherd that unfortunately spent five years of his life tied to a post, unloved and ignored by his owner.

Eventually, he was rescued twice, but some people fail to understand that not every rescue story has a happy ending.

There are times when these dogs act out of their desperation, which might be overwhelming or aggressive for the parent. This is the same case with Herschel, whose energy often gives people a wrong impression, and the parents return him to the shelter.

This meant that this lovely pub might not be adopted by anyone and has to spend the rest of life in the shelter. But there is a positive side to this story. Save Our Shelter gave this pup another chance to win the heart of people and was shown in the hit show Dog’s Day Out.

Herschel here experienced the best day of his life when you got show his best moves.

The dogs saw snow for the first time and got to give teddy bear hugs. This day, he was being delivered to his new family, and that made Herschel super exciting.

But the best part of his entire day was probably the visit to the beach.

It was his first time seeing the ocean, and his reaction was priceless. He was so excited that his parents have to snatch him before he could leap into the water.

It was a great feeling for him to be free and able to play in such a wide-open space. As the dog got close to the sea, he started barking in excitement and confusion.

Rocky was initially doubtful of letting Herschel into the sea, but later, he let him and allowed the dog to have fun that he deserved.
